With both parents coming from horse backgrounds, it is no surprise Sarah developed a passion for horses at a young age. Like many kids she began her riding career in pony club, before developing a particular interest in showjumping. Despite having a long-term (human) partner, Sarah will tell you that the true love of her life is an 800kg grey warmblood gelding named Walter.

Sarah graduated from the University of Queensland in 2023, with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and first-class honours. During university, Sarah gained experience working in 2 well-known referral hospitals in Brisbane: one equine and one small animal. She joined the practice in early 2024 and is thoroughly enjoying immersing herself in all aspects of equine medicine and surgery. In addition to the patients, Sarah is enjoying getting to know and building relationships with their owners.

In her spare time Sarah enjoys showjumping, fishing, exercising and reading.
