Shiralee grew up within the Toowoomba region, from a young age horses have always been a passion. At the age of 16 Shiralee assisted training endurance Arabians and eventually began to compete herself. Since then, Shiralee has continued to compete in endurance while also contributing extensively to the organisation and running of events from the qualifying rides all the way up to the Tom Quilty.

In early 2022 Shiralee made the decision to pursue her passion for animals more and started studying Vet Nursing which then led to her joining the Equine Veterinary Services Team. In Shiralee’s spare time she likes to compete in endurance, find a new trail to experience with friends on her horse and most of all spend time with her family, friends and all her pets.
